Oh M'Lawd....this place is the best now. I had an initial "off" experience when they first opened several years ago. That was clearly an anomaly. Last night, I picked up a pepperoni pizza and a box of Italian cookies. Pizza was super. Greasy, yes, but so delicious! The Italian cookies are from NY. They might resemble those ones at Publix but I assure you they are NOT the same! I could eat the whole box in one sitting. I plan to get more for my Thanksgiving get-together with friends. I will be back soon!!! :)

I'm so grateful for a wonderful Italian restaurant! The menu is so extensive and everyone will be happy! I always get whatever the special is. Today was eggplant rollitini with a salad, and brushetta. Out of this world delicious. If you check in, you get 6 garlic knots.

Ordered two pizzas for take out. Got home one of them was incorrect. Crest of both was so tough, I couldn't cut it with a steak knife. My wife says call to complain. I say I just won't go back and neither should you.

Our first time here. I had a slice of the Tomato Basil Garlic pizza. Three of my favorite flavors on pizza? Yes, please. It had a thin crust and a nice sauce. The garlic knots {FREE when you check in!} were super yummy, full of garlic flavor. A slice of pizza and a drink, just over $5. This Italian girl would definitely eat here again when in the area.

Great pizza, authentic NY style with a nice sauce, great choice of toppings and, if you don't want to commit to a whole pie, pizza by the slice like up in Jersey and Yonkers. Fresh salads, hot and cold appetizers and authentic desserts round out the menu. The atmosphere is pleasant for an easy lunch or a family style pizza dinner and the service is great as well. Can't go wrong with this pleasant place!

Staff was rude and disrespectful. Would not go there again.

This restaurant puts the Italians to shame! I cannot believe that people still go there to eat! It must be because they dont know what real Italian food is like. The pizzas and food have absolutely no taste at all! Service is not really professional. If the owner has 42 years of experience, he should make some improvements. Sorry, I will not go bacx, it is horrible and he should get some REAL Italian pizzamakers from Naples to show him how to make pizza and be a little cleaner.

Service staff needs to work on being more helpful and courteous. The Pizza reminds me of the type you would get at a Fair.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
